Privacy & website information
Privacy notice
Effective and last updated: 23 October 2026.
Who is responsible
Rebeca Services Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 13176278, is responsible for the personal information described here. Registered office: 23 Eastbury Road, Romford, England, RM7 9AL. Privacy contact: stewart@rebecaservices.co.uk.
Enquiries and website visits
When you contact us, we use the name, business contact details and project outline you provide to assess and answer your enquiry. Please provide a way for us to reply and enough information to understand the work required. Other details are optional. Do not send confidential drawings or sensitive project information with an initial enquiry.
We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, managing business relationships and operating a secure website. Where you personally ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, we rely on taking those pre-contract steps. This notice does not cover all information handled under a subsequent project appointment.
Access and service providers
Alex Cornea and Stewart Chester handle enquiries, with Stewart responsible for monitoring and replies. We use Google Workspace for business email, billed through Squarespace, and WordPress.com (Automattic) for website hosting and related technical services. These providers process information to supply their services. Hosting systems may record technical information such as IP address, browser details and request logs for operation and security.
Authorised access and service-provider processing may take place outside the UK. Provider information about international processing and safeguards is available in Automattic’s privacy information and Google Workspace’s data-processing terms. Contact our privacy contact for further information about how your enquiry is handled.
How long enquiries are kept
Enquiries that do not lead to a job are kept for a maximum of 12 months from the last substantive contact, then deleted. Substantive contact means a meaningful exchange about the enquiry or proposed work, rather than automated notices or marketing messages. Any exceptional retention for a particular legal requirement or dispute must have a documented reason and be reviewed. Provider backup copies expire through the relevant backup cycle.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, or receive portable information where that right applies. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact Stewart using the address above. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Cookies and technical services
This website uses WordPress.com hosting and security services. Essential technologies may support secure operation; authorised sign-in uses authentication cookies. Optional Jetpack Stats and Google Analytics are disabled for this version. Our pages do not include embedded maps, social feeds or advertising tools. You can manage stored cookies in your browser; blocking essential cookies may affect sign-in or website functions. See Automattic’s cookie information for the hosting platform’s technologies.
We review this notice when enquiry handling, providers, access arrangements, tracking or retention changes, and at least annually.
Website enquiries
A website enquiry does not appoint Rebeca Services Ltd or create a contract for works. Scope, responsibilities and terms must be agreed separately in writing. Please agree a suitable document-transfer route before sending confidential project material.
